To run ScholarLog, we store:
Your data is used to operate the app itself: displaying your entries, calculating your GPA, syncing across devices, and generating exports you request. We don't sell your data, and we don't use your journal content to train any model.
Your data lives in our hosted database, plus a local offline copy on your device so the app keeps working without a connection. Profile photos are stored with our image hosting provider.
We use a small number of infrastructure providers (hosting, database, image storage) strictly to run the service. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google to create your account, nothing more.
ScholarLog isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll let you know in the app before the change takes effect.
