Terms & Rules

Last updated: July 2026

1. Using ScholarLog

ScholarLog is a personal study companion for journaling, assignment tracking, GPA planning, and focus tools in one place. By creating an account, you agree to use it for its intended purpose: keeping your own academic life organized.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has accessed it.

3. Your content

Journal entries, assignments, courses, and everything else you enter remain yours. We don't claim ownership over your content, and we don't read it except where necessary to operate the service (e.g. automated processing for sync, backups, or support you request).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for anything unlawful or to harm others.
  • Attempt to access another user's data without authorization.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service's infrastructure.
  • Reverse-engineer or resell the service without permission.

5. Premium features

Some features (export tools, voice dictation, analytics) are gated behind a Premium plan. Premium status can be granted, changed, or revoked by ScholarLog at its discretion, including for testing and support purposes.

6. Service changes

ScholarLog is under active development. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time as the product evolves. We'll try to give notice for anything that meaningfully affects your data or workflow.

7. Termination

You can stop using ScholarLog at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Where possible, you'll have the chance to export your data first (see Settings → Data → Export/Import).

8. Disclaimer

ScholarLog is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. It's a study aid, not a substitute for your institution's official records. Always confirm deadlines and requirements with your school directly.
